North Collier Fire Rescue Training Center

The North Collier Fire Rescue Training Center, located at Station 45 in Naples, is certified by the Florida State Fire Marshal as an official firefighter training facility and serves as a cornerstone of firefighter education within Collier County. Designed to support realistic, hands-on instruction, the facility features a fire tower and burn room that allow firefighters to train in live-fire and real-world response environments.

The Training Center was recognized by the State of Florida as Fire Training Center of the Year in 2015, 2018, and 2025. This recognition reflects the strength of its instructional staff, collaborative training environment, high student success rates, and the mentorship provided to students during and after completion of training programs.

The Training Center is home to the only Firefighter Minimum Standards Training Program in Collier County, a distinction that carries significant responsibility and regional impact. Through this program, approximately 100 students graduate each year, entering the workforce as certified firefighters and directly supporting the staffing and operational readiness of fire service agencies throughout the region.

In addition to serving Firefighter Minimum Standards students, the Training Center functions as a regional training resource for fire departments across Collier County and surrounding areas. Departments utilize the facility for advanced certifications, live-fire training, officer development, and joint training exercises, strengthening interoperability and supporting a consistent, high standard of firefighter preparedness throughout the region.
