A Naples native, Christopher Crossan joined the fire service as a volunteer at the age of 18. He went on to serve for 30 years as a career firefighter, earning a degree in Fire Science and retiring from Marco Island Fire Rescue in 2021 at the rank of Division Chief.
Previously, Commissioner Crossan served as a Fire Commissioner for the Big Corkscrew Island Fire Control and Rescue District, where he played a key role in guiding the merger between Big Corkscrew and North Naples. That effort resulted in the formation of today’s North Collier Fire Rescue District in 2015.
Following the merger, Commissioner Crossan continued his service on the newly formed North Collier Fire Rescue District Board of Fire Commissioners through 2021.
Commissioner Crossan remains dedicated to protecting and serving the residents of the District in any capacity necessary.
