Request Inspection

• North Collier Fire District requires that all inspection requests be received no later than 3:30 p.m. You will receive confirmation of your request for inspection within 1 business day.
• Time specific inspections can be requested for an additional fee of $100. Time specific requests will be honored as scheduling allows.
• If you require an inspection outside of normal business hours, you may request an overtime inspection by calling 239-597-9227. Additional fees will apply.
• Cancellation of any inspection shall be made no later than 8 a.m. on the day of the inspection. Failure to cancel the inspection by 8 a.m. shall result in re-inspection fees.
• Inspections for North Collier Fire District are scheduled in AM (8am – 12 Noon) or PM (1pm – 5pm) blocks, Monday – Friday, excluding District recognized holidays.
• Inspections for Immokalee Fire District are scheduled in the AM (8am - 12 Noon) on Tuesdays and Thursdays only, excluding District recoginized holidays. 
• The Fire Inspector will call you prior to arriving at your inspection site.
• For permitted inspections only, approved Collier County plans (originals and revisions) shall be on site or available electronically. Inspection Job Card shall be on site for the inspector to sign and any additional documents shall be available for review. If these documents are not on the job site or available electronically upon the inspector’s arrival, the inspection may be canceled, and re-inspection fees may be applied.
• If applicable, supporting documents shall be provided at the final inspection, (e.g., Above Ground Forms, Underground Forms, Record of Completion and plans associated with Fast Track Permits-System Project Permits).
• By requesting inspections through North Collier Fire, you grant permission for Fire Inspectors to photograph all items related to the building or site to be inspected.
• Only the permit holder is authorized to call in an inspection on their respective permits.
• Inspections may be canceled or delayed due to fire rescue emergencies; however, you will be notified if your inspection is canceled.
• Inspection fees are due prior to inspection(s) and cannot be accepted in the field by our Fire Inspectors.

Submittals required for scheduling a flow test include:

• Aerial map or plat plan of site including cross streets.
• If cross streets are not labeled on maps and/or street signs are not yet installed at new construction sites, zoom out on GPS aerial map until point of reference streets are included.
• Show and label the specific locations of both flow and static hydrants on map.
• Provide tag numbers for both hydrants (if tagged).
• Show direction of north.
• Identify address or parcel ID #.
