The Florida Fire Prevention Code requires places of assembly to have at least one (1) crowd manager or crowd manager supervisor. A place of assembly is defined as any occupancy where 50 or more people gather for purposes such as worship, entertainment, dining, drinking, meetings, amusement, or similar activities, including special amusement buildings. Examples of assembly occupancies include:

These classes provide practical training to help staff recognize hazards, manage occupant safety, and respond effectively in the event of an emergency.

Crowd Manager Certification is also available through an approved online course offered by Ricky Rescue. This flexible option allows participants to complete the required training at their convenience while reinforcing life safety awareness and emergency preparedness principles.
